Email setup - Kmail Linux

This article explains how you can set up an email address from MijnHostingPartner.nl within Linux within the client Kmail.

To do this you must of course first have created a mail address within MijnHostingPartner.nl, if you have not done this yet you can easily arrange it through the client panel in the following way:

First check if you can log in with the data within our Webmail in an internet browser of your choice. Then you can add the mail address within Kmail by selecting Settings -> Add Account. And then enter your mail address and password.

To continue select the option for Generic IMAP server:

And after this modify the server data to the following hosts:

After this you can continue, and if necessary still adjust the ports to the supported ports within your network. This can be for IMAP:

143, 993

And for SMTP:

25, 26, 465, 587

All these ports are supported by us, it just depends on your local network in this.

After this you can use your email address hosted at MijnHostingPartner.nl within Kmail.
